A MESSAGE FROM JOANNE
As an old scholar of Banaras Hindu University in Varanasi, and teacher of yoga and meditation for more than 20 years, I am passionate about the dissemination of India’s age-old teachings in their purest form.
Yoga and meditation have spread around the world which is wonderful, in many cases however these ancient practices are misinterpreted, bypassing important elements essential for a balanced and deep understanding.
With the rise of stress-related illness I believe it is more important than ever for people of all ages and walks of life have the opportunity to access these valuable teachings in their birthplace.
The primary objective of the Wisdom of India Tour is to deliver an authentic, practical and inspiring experience by providing the platform to learn about Yoga, Ayurveda, Buddhist Meditation and Indian Philosophy from some of India’s most respected scholars and practitioners.
My time studying, travelling and living in India over the years has proven to be the most insightful and rewarding experience of my life, and I look forward to sharing the best of this incredible country and her wisdom with you.
